Harley Davidson Eagles Launch New Safety Riding Program for Motorcycle Riders

JAKARTA – PT Anak Elang Motorindo, the authorized dealer and distributor of Elang Harley Davidson in Indonesia, recently conducted a safety training event themed ‘Skilled Rider Training’ aimed at new motorcycle purchasers.

This initiative is designed to inform motorcyclists about the significance of safe riding practices. The program encompasses safety theory and hands-on exercises, which include techniques for controlling large motorcycles, executing safe maneuvers, and strategies for accident prevention.

This event is part of Harley-Davidson’s commitment to ensuring that motorcyclists ride safely, whether on the road or during tours. The safety training sessions have been regularly organized as part of this initiative.

“This program aims to refine riding abilities and diminish accident occurrences. Although it is held annually, we hope that active members can enhance their skills and lower their accident risks,” stated Suherli, the President Director of Elang Harley-Davidson, in an official statement issued on Tuesday, January 21.

During the same event, Eagle-Davidson Director Raka Herza emphasized that this initiative represents a dealer’s commitment to reduce accident risks, particularly for riders of large motorcycles.

“Through this event, we establish a standard for every chapter. We hope that all participants enhance their skills, gain confidence, and learn to foresee potential accidents,” Raka remarked.

Joel Deksa Mustana, one of the two SRT Certified Trainer instructors in Indonesia, led the training session this time, which included theories covering motorcycle preparation, driving strategies for touring, control techniques for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and methods for accident avoidance.
