Thousands of bikers worldwide gathered to pay their respects at the funeral of Hells Angel Chris Brown today.

The father of two, aged 37, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident while returning home from work.

His Harley Davidson was involved in the incident on April 7.

Chris sustained critical injuries and succumbed in the hospital three days later.

A respected member of The Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, he was commemorated by fellow riders during his funeral in South Shields.

Bikers traveled from places like Wales, Northern Ireland, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Belgium, Madrid, and even the Canary Islands to honor the beloved Chris.

They joined his wife Stacey and daughters Harlo-Rose, 12, and Haylan, seven, in celebrating Chris, who was remembered by a friend for his radiant smile and boundless generosity.

More than 1,000 riders formed a procession to escort Chris to South Shields Crematorium.

The Hells Angels donned sashes on their signature leather vests showcasing Chris’ nickname “Browny”. The significant turnout caused traffic to be stopped in the Tyne Tunnel to allow the procession to proceed.

A participant from Northampton stated, “This is what we do.”

As Chris’ coffin, adorned with “Hells Angels” on its side, entered the crematorium, bikers chanted “Affa!”—the Hells Angels slogan meaning Angels Forever, Forever Angels—while the crowd erupted in applause.

During the heartfelt service, it was remarked: “He achieved more in 37 years than many do in three lifetimes.”

Chris, a supervisor at Smulders in Wallsend, was characterized as someone who “lived life to the fullest—not in years, but in miles. He wasn’t just a biker; he was a legend in motion. His passion for motorbikes was more than a hobby; it was his way of life.”

The officiant remarked: “Chris always said he wanted to go on his bike when his time came. Yet, he had so much more to live for.”

A fellow biker shared during the service: “He embodied integrity, bravery, and truly embraced the brotherhood of our club.”

“His class, style, and finesse were abundant.”

The Mirror reported that Chris’ life story was shared during the ceremony, bringing both laughter and tears to the attendees.

Even from a young age, he was “fearless,” with his love for bikes igniting at just seven years old. However, his wife and daughters were where he found his “greatest joy,” according to the officiant.

Stacey shared her thoughts about her husband: “No one ever had a negative word about Chris. He was incredibly kind and willing to help anyone. He was a true family man, especially to me and our children. His impact on the town was significant, as everyone who met him adored him. He was genuinely a wonderful person.”

In Chris’s honor, Stacey has committed to completing the Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday, June 21, coinciding with the Summer Solstice, to raise funds for Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Charity. At the time of writing, an impressive £16,500 has already been donated, reflecting the love Chris inspired in those who knew him.
