Installation Reference
Tips:
This tool has 2 sides. One side(Side B) with the small step is for the early EVO flat style/Screamin’ Eagle (Part No. 17048-98)performance gasket.
The other side(Side A) of the tool is for the tapered style gaskets,（Part No. 65324-83B）, please see below picture
For the tapered style gaskets （Part No. 65324-83B）， make sure the Thin edge of the gasket faces the Side A of this tool, while the thick edge face the exhaust port of motor cylinder head
By the way, we could use the two exhaust flanged nuts(H-D No. 7593) ,alternate tightening nuts onto exhaust mounting studs , just to press/push the gasket to exhaust port (cylinder head).
