The dealership is collaborating with Western Slope Hog and the Salvation Army.

“We invite the biker community to unite and contribute unwrapped gifts for boys and girls. Just strap them to your motorcycle and bring them to the Harley-Davidson dealership, where we will have a parade route,” shared Dean Nelson, Director of Western Slope Hog.

Between 500 and 800 bikers are expected to gather at the dealership. Coffee and donuts will be available for participants and guests. Riders will then be escorted by the Grand Junction Police Department along a 7-mile route concluding at The Moose Lodge on 25 1/2 Rd.

“We’re anticipating excellent weather, and we hope this will be our largest toy run yet,” stated Rachel Box, Motor Clothes Manager for Harley-Davidson.

After the gift drop-off, attendees can enjoy an after-party at the lodge, celebrating another successful year.

“The true satisfaction comes from witnessing the joy in the children’s hearts and alleviating some of the burdens from struggling parents,” added Nelson.

Last year, nearly 6,000 toys were collected at Harley-Davidson, according to the dealership’s staff.

Individuals interested in donating or participating are encouraged to visit the dealership at 2747 Crossroads Blvd., where special drop-off bins are available.

“It’s an incredible experience,” remarked Box. “After 12 years, I still feel thrilled seeing the multitude of motorcycles and the community coming together for such a worthy cause—it truly gives you goosebumps.”

The event will take place on December 7. More details about the event can be found here.
