A man has had his driving license revoked after being caught riding his motorcycle at nearly 60 km/h over the speed limit.
On Tuesday, April 29, at around 2 PM, Holden Hill patrols observed a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Lower North East Road traveling at 119 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. The police engaged with the rider and requested a breath test; however, the individual refused to participate in the breath analysis.
The rider, a 55-year-old man from Banksia Park, has been reported for excessive speeding and for refusing to undergo a breath analysis. He will face a summons for court at a later date. His license was immediately suspended for 12 months, and his motorcycle was impounded for 28 days.
