SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On 05/24/25 at approximately 1955 hours, the Vermont State Police – New Haven Barracks received notification of a single vehicle motorcycle accident on Shoreham Depot Road in Shoreham, VT. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Begonis (68) was operating a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he went off the road.
While interacting with Begonis, officers observed multiple signs of impairment. He was screened for DUI suspicion and subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. Begonis was taken to the New Haven State Police Barracks for processing.
Begonis received a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court – Criminal Division on 06/09/2025 at 1230 hours regarding the charges noted above.
