A member of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang has been arrested after police discovered a loaded gun and illegal drugs on him yesterday.
At approximately 3:30 PM on Sunday, December 8, police noticed a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the Seaford Meadows area. The rider was donned in a Comanchero OMCG vest.
When police attempted to pull over the motorcycle, the rider ignored them and sped off. Instead of chasing the bike, authorities called in PolAir, which quickly took to the skies to monitor the rider’s movements safely.
Subsequently, officers from the Crime Gangs Task Force apprehended the individual at a hotel in Modbury North. During the arrest, they allegedly discovered a substantial amount of methamphetamine in the possession of the 35-year-old man from Aldinga Beach.
As part of their investigation, police conducted a search at an address in Elizabeth Downs, where they confiscated the Harley Davidson motorcycle and a loaded firearm.
The man has been charged with riding while disqualified, dangerous driving while evading police, trafficking in controlled substances, possession of a firearm without a license, breaching a firearms prohibition order, and possession of prescription medication. He did not request bail and is set to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
