On Thursday, three individuals tragically lost their lives in various road accidents across the city and nearby rural areas. The first incident involved a Harley Davidson rider who died after losing control of his motorcycle at the Gota Bridge on SG Highway. The victim, identified as 29-year-old Rituraj Gupta from Gandhinagar, was studying cyber security and en route to work. According to police, Gupta lost his balance, collided with a divider, and subsequently crashed into an electric pole, suffering fatal head and body injuries at the scene. SG-1 Traffic Police have filed a report and commenced an investigation.

In a second incident on the Changodar-Moraiya Bridge, a speeding BMW car crashed into a trailer truck loaded with bricks. The truck, driven by Vishnu Khatana from Surendranagar, was traveling from Morbi to Himmatnagar. The force of the collision pushed the truck nearly 50 feet. Among the four occupants in the BMW—two men and two women—one woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The third incident involved a bike-trailer collision that took the life of 27-year-old Prakash Lagdaniya, a Sanand resident. He was riding from Bavla to Sanand with his companion Raju when their motorcycle collided with a trailer. Lagdaniya died instantly, while Raju sustained injuries.

As reported by the Arkansas State Police, 56-year-old Juan Magdaleno sustained fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Saturday.

The resident of Salem, Arkansas, lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle, veering off the road and colliding with a culvert, which propelled him approximately 30 feet from the bike.

Litchfield Resident Dies in Londonderry Motorcycle Accident | News, Sports, Jobs


LONDONDERRY – Joshua Lane, 53, from Litchfield, tragically lost his life on June 1 when his 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed at the intersection of High Range Road and Royal Lane.

The Londonderry Police Department reported that officers arrived on the scene around 3:15 p.m. and discovered Lane’s motorcycle off the road in the woods on the northbound side of High Range Road. At the time of the accident, Lane was not wearing a helmet.

Londonderry firefighters provided immediate assistance to Lane at the scene, and he was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 4:30 p.m.

Details on the incident are limited as the investigation is still ongoing.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – On Sunday, June 1 at approximately 2:54 p.m., deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a motorcycle accident on State Road 252, near Raymond Road.

Upon arrival, deputies found that 67-year-old Jeffery D. Ogle of Cincinnati was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson westbound on S.R. 252. For reasons yet to be determined, Ogle lost control and veered off the north side of the roadway, colliding with a fence, resulting in his ejection from the motorcycle.

Emergency responders pronounced Ogle dead at the scene as confirmed by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office. S.R. 252 was closed for about 1.5 hours while the investigation took place.

Assistance at the scene was provided by the Drewersburg Volunteer Fire Department, Letts E.M.S., and the Franklin County Coroner’s Office. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.

UPDATE: The Georgia State Patrol reports that the accident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. According to investigators, a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling east on Highway 49 when it approached the intersection at Spooner Drive. Meanwhile, a Toyota Corolla was heading south on Spooner Drive and attempted a left turn onto Highway 49, entering the motorcycle’s path.

Troopers stated that the front of the Corolla struck the right side of the motorcycle. Wooten, from Alamo, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Corolla’s driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital.

BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A motorcycle crash on Highway 49 near Byron resulted in the death of a 38-year-old man on Sunday afternoon, according to Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks.

Rooks identified the deceased as Antonio Wooten. He indicated that Wooten was traveling north when a vehicle entered the roadway near Spooner Drive, leading to the crash.

Wooten was pronounced dead at 2:05 p.m., Rooks confirmed.

The Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office reported that William Hartman succumbed to injuries sustained in a crash that occurred on Rt. 56 shortly after 5 p.m.

Hartman was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Rt. 56 when he collided with a car near the Wildlife Lodge Road intersection.

JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — A single-vehicle accident in Josephine County led to the death of a man from Cave Junction. Oregon State Police responded to the incident.

The crash occurred at 9:08 a.m. on Friday, May 2, on Highway 199 near milepost 35. Initial findings suggest that a southbound Harley Davidson motorcycle veered across the northbound lane, entered a pullout area, and left the road.

The motorcycle’s driver, William Robert Murphy, 37, went into a ditch and collided with a tree.

A 45-year-old man from Anderson has died and a 41-year-old woman from Palo Cedro sustained serious injuries following a head-on collision involving a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Honda sedan, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred around 2:35 p.m. on Monday. Pamela Sutton, 50, of Whitmore was driving west on Whitmore Road in a black 2004 Civic at a speed between 55 and 60 mph, according to CHP spokesperson Jason Morton.

Near Cow Creek Ranch in Millville, Sutton’s vehicle veered into the opposing (eastbound) lane, colliding with the black Harley, as indicated by the CHP. The man from Anderson was riding the motorcycle at a speed comparable to that of Sutton’s vehicle at the time of impact.

The man and his passenger were ejected from the motorcycle and landed on the shoulder of Whitmore Road, according to the CHP.

First responders confirmed that the man died at the crash scene, while his passenger was airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Redding with serious injuries.

Sutton also reported experiencing pain following the incident, as stated by the CHP.

Alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash, according to the CHP.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and the CHP has not released the identity of the deceased man pending family notification.

MECHANICSVILLE, Va. — A motorcyclist from Midlothian tragically lost his life on Sunday due to a crash in Mechanicsville.

The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has named the victim as 25-year-old Tyler Lowe, hailing from Midlothian, Virginia.

“At about 9:30 p.m., our deputies were dispatched to the 7200 block of Walnut Grove Road in Mechanicsville following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident,” stated investigators. “Initial findings indicate that a 2006 Harley Davidson was heading west on Walnut Grove Road when it veered off the right side of the road, colliding with a mailbox and a fence, resulting in the rider being ejected.”

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

A resident of Bristol lost his life and another man was injured early Sunday when a driver traveling in the wrong direction on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike collided with two motorcycles.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:09 a.m. in Washington Township, Lehigh County, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police Troop T Pocono Station.

A 24-year-old woman from Perth Amboy, N.J., driving a 2019 Honda HRV southbound in the northbound lanes, crashed into two motorcycles that were part of a group of six, according to troopers.

A 50-year-old man from Bristol, who was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Additionally, a 24-year-old Bristol man sustained injuries in the accident, as reported by the state police.

Emergency Medical Services provided treatment at the site before the injured man was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

The driver of the Honda suffered minor injuries.

Northbound traffic was redirected at the Lehigh Valley exit, and access to the northbound lanes from State Route 22 was blocked. The southbound lanes remained open.

The situation was resolved by 1:20 p.m., and all traffic restrictions were removed.

Ongoing investigations into the crash are being conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police Troop T Pocono Station.
