Keanu Reeves was seen at Daytona Bike Week earlier this month, testing the newly launched Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR, referred to as the “most powerful and dynamic production motorcycle” in the company’s 122-year history.
Reeves has been passionate about motorcycles for years and the “Sonic” actor even launched his own motorcycle brand in 2011, featuring a limited-edition sportbike designed on a Harley-styled chassis. The Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR brings together modern styles and performance. Its graphics are inspired by the livery of the 2025 Harley-Davidson Factory Racing Team, featuring elegant leather accents, dark carbon fiber weaving, Hog Black engine components, and vibrant “Racing Orange” highlights on the lifter tubes and rocker boxes. The rim’s subtle red “CVO RR” logo is laser-etched on the wheels. With a new Screamin’ Eagle 131 V-Twin engine, this motorcycle promises peak torque and horsepower, all wrapped in a sleek aerodynamic design.
The CVO Road Glide RR also introduces a new premium audio system developed in partnership with Rockford Fosgate. In terms of features, the Pan America 1250 ST keeps the 6.8-inch TFT display with a touchscreen, alongside five riding modes: Road, Sport, Rain, and two Custom settings. Additionally, it includes electronic rider aids such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control, wheelie control, and TPMS.
Presently, the Pan America 1250 ST is featured on the brand’s Indian website, and it will be interesting to see what pricing approach Hero will take for this model.
SINGAPORE: The Singapore Motorshow 2025, taking place from January 9 to 12 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, wrapped up with over 160 vehicles on display, marking the highest count in the event’s history.

Harley-Davidson’s first-ever motorcycle was a single-cylinder model, and by 1909, it had developed its first v-twin. It wasn’t long after that it had its first successful v-twin with the Model 7D that was launched in 1911. This long-stroke, narrow-angle twin-cylinder configuration has been a signature of the brand ever since. The single crank pin and bank angle have given Harleys their signature ‘potato potato’ idle sound over the decades, and the advantages of the v-twin configuration have allowed it to make some astonishingly great motorcycles for cruising and touring.
This format was so successful that the Japanese started making their own cruisers and tourers with a narrow-angle v-twin, some of which were truly great competition. Motorcycling has been perceived as a rebellious activity in the USA since the car is the default mode of transportation.
