PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet warmly greeted athletes taking part in the “Thailand Masters 2025 International Senior Football Tournament”. The event also saw over 150 Harley Davidson riders, who joined in promoting the tournament while showcasing the beautiful sights of Pattaya and Bangsaen, thereby contributing to the local tourism economy.
Hosted by the Thai Senior Sports Association, the Thailand Masters 2025 aims to boost sports tourism and the sports industry. The tournament is scheduled from May 26–30, at the Royal Thai Navy Stadium in Sattahip. Matches will feature two age divisions: 50 years and 55–60 years. Teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top performers advancing based on head-to-head outcomes and goal difference.
Athletes from 10 countries will participate: Thailand, the United Kingdom, Australia, Iran, New Zealand, Taiwan, Uruguay, the United States, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. Athletes, along with their families and supporters, will stay in Pattaya, creating a substantial economic impact on local businesses.
