Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson Enhance Their Partnership with New Bike Development
On Friday, Hero MotoCorp announced an extension of its partnership with the esteemed American motorcycle brand, Harley-Davidson, aimed at launching new products.
As part of this collaboration, the companies plan to unveil new versions of the Harley-Davidson X440 and create an entirely new motorcycle.
According to a regulatory filing, the agreement expands their existing partnership to include new variants of the X440 model and the development of a brand-new motorcycle.
Last year, Hero and Harley launched their first co-developed motorcycle, the X 440. The collaboration was initially announced in October 2020, focused on the Indian market.
This deal involves Hero MotoCorp designing and marketing a line of premium motorcycles under the Harley-Davidson name in India, along with managing service and parts for Harley bikes.
Moreover, Hero MotoCorp is also tasked with the retail of Harley accessories, general merchandise, riding gear, and apparel through a dedicated network of Harley-Davidson dealers and its existing sales framework throughout the country.
