A 35-year-old man from Molalla passed away Saturday in a collision on Highway 213, as reported by Oregon State Police on Monday.

According to police, an initial investigation suggests that Kenneth Jay Isaksen was riding a Harley Davidson Low Rider S motorcycle heading north near milepost 10 when he crossed the center line for reasons unclear and collided with a southbound Ford Explorer.

Police confirmed Isaksen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford Explorer was being driven by a 15-year-old boy, along with two passengers: a 37-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl, all from Molalla. They sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for care.

The highway remained closed for about four hours as the police conducted their investigation.

Motorcyclist Joseph M. Antee Identified in Fatal Vernon Crash

A 64-year-old man from Flatwoods, Louisiana, lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place on Louisiana Highway 8 near Comrade Road around 12:08 p.m.
The motorcyclist, identified as Joseph M. Antee, was thrown from his Harley Davidson after colliding with a driveway embankment.
Antee was declared dead at the scene.

A 64-year-old Flatwoods man died Sunday afternoon following a motorcycle crash in Vernon Parish, as reported by Louisiana State Police.

According to a news release, Joseph M. Antee was pronounced dead at the crash site, which occurred around 12:08 p.m. on La. Highway 8 near Comrade Road.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Antee was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson westbound on La. 8 when he veered off the road on a left-hand curve. The motorcycle struck a driveway embankment, causing him to be ejected.

The investigation is ongoing.

Motorcyclist Dies in Multi-Vehicle Collision on South Shields Street

FORT COLLINS, CO – A motorcyclist lost their life in a multi-vehicle accident that took place on South Shields Street on Thursday evening, which is currently under investigation by the Fort Collins Police CRASH Team.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on February 6 in the 6000 block of South Shields Street. Police reports indicate that a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was heading northbound when a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle, also traveling north, crashed into the back of the Jeep. The collision propelled the motorcyclist into the southbound lanes, where they were hit by a 2005 Toyota Prius and subsequently by a 2012 Subaru Outback.

Emergency responders declared the motorcyclist deceased at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.

Due to the nature of the incident, South Shields Street was closed for approximately seven hours between Trilby Road and Scenic Drive as investigators worked the scene. Authorities are currently looking into whether speed or alcohol was a factor in the crash.

“Our CRASH Team is diligently investigating the details surrounding this tragic event to provide clarity to those affected. Every loss of life is heart-wrenching, and our condolences are with those involved,” stated Sergeant David Lindsay from the Fort Collins Police.

All drivers involved in the accident remained on-site and are cooperating with law enforcement. Officials urge anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn’t yet spoken with authorities to reach out to Officer Brandon Barnes at (970) 221-6540.

Today Sunday 9th September 2018 I attended the annual Grampian Motorcycle Convention held at Alford Grampian Transport Museum .

I enjoy these events, always hundreds of bikes on display , some vintage, classic and current models , well organised and catering for the crowds that attend.

The weather was excellent ,I spoke to many bikers all sharing their love for the bike they had on display , many had 2 or 3 that they owned , however as usual the best part for was capturing all the motorcycles in the parking area, driven to the event by enthusiasts and owners with a love for their chosen Suzuki, Yamaha,Kawasaki ,Triumph etc.

I captured 400 bikes at the convention today , I do not have the time to list their details etc , hence please feel free to comment on any individual bike that you recognise , meantime I will slowly though surely add as much information as I can when I find time .
