New Harley Davidson Unveils ‘Elegant Yet Brutal’ Model Featuring Woven Seats and Chic Wheels – Complete Rear Revamp!

A HARLEY-Davidson model, characterized by its blend of sophistication and raw power, has been unveiled, featuring large, stylish wheels.

The V-twin racing street custom series was phased out eight years ago. Since then, many enthusiasts have sought custom builders to craft their own distinctive motorcycles, echoing the style of the original line.

A standout custom build by Spanish firm Lord Drake Kustoms features the Night Rod Special, a drag bike renowned for its performance, showcasing a range of impressive modifications.

The most notable upgrade is the rear wheel, which has been enlarged from 240mm to the maximum legal 330mm.

The entire rear assembly has been revamped, including a new swingarm and a transmission adjustment.

The shock spacers have also been overhauled, complemented by the Legend air suspension that allows for height adjustments on the fly.

Many aftermarket parts were custom-fabricated by Lord Drake Kustoms.

This includes the wheel fenders, seat, and numerous body components, with the rear fender also housing an integrated LED taillight.

One of the few unchanged elements is the engine, retaining the original stock Revolution motor developed by Harley-Davidson in collaboration with Porsche.

The engine generates 120 horsepower, though it now features a bespoke exhaust system.

Visually, the V-Rod is adorned in matte black, gloss black, and gold accents. Its generously sized seat is embellished with diamond stitching in gold thread and engraved plaques.

The rear fender features Roman numerals, a personal touch known only to the motorcycle’s owner from Mexico.

Harley-Davidson reveals brand new bike that pays homage to iconic model as fans rave over ‘masterpiece’

Described as “elegant and brutal,” the bike’s price is yet to be disclosed. However, used stock versions can range from $6,000 to $16,000.

It has been a significant week for Harley-Davidson, with discussions about a potential leadership change following calls for the removal of the CEO.

The company’s second-largest shareholder was advocating for the ousting of three board members, including CEO Jochen Zeitz, in a considerable restructuring.

Nonetheless, Zeitz retained his position in a tightly contested board vote, described by Reuters as a “razor-thin outcome.”

Having led the iconic brand since 2020, Zeitz has faced scrutiny amid declining sales and a plummeting stock value.

H Partners had urged the board to consider an external candidate, but proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services found their arguments for change lacking.

There are indications that Zeitz may retire this year; however, he maintains he will stay until a successor is found.

Harley-Davidson closures in 2024

There are now over 650 Harley-Davidson dealerships in the U.S.

However, numerous stores have shut down throughout 2024 for various reasons, some without explanation.

Here are some Harley-Davidson locations that have closed this year and the reasons behind their closures:

A San Francisco location ceased operations in June 2024 after 110 years due to ‘chaos’ stemming from new management.

Miracle City Harley-Davidson in Titusville, Florida, closed in September 2024; no reason was provided.

Harley-Davidson’s historic location in New York City closed on September 28, 2024, with the owner citing economic challenges.

Reiman’s Harley-Davidson dealership in Kewanee, Illinois, closed its doors in October 2024 after its owners sold to the Walter Brothers Harley-Davidson dealership in Peoria, Illinois.

Another Illinois dealership also closed in November 2024.

Additionally, the West Bend, Wisconsin dealership is temporarily closing for the season from November 2 to April 1, 2024.

In 2025, Hideout Harley-Davidson in Missouri announced it would close at the end of March.
