</div><br/>(Source: Newton County Sheriff's Office)<p>On June 4, 2025, the Newton County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team, in collaboration with the Joplin Police Department SWAT team and the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team, executed a search warrant at 6619 Spurgeon Road in Newton County.</p><p>This warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation by the Newton County Sheriff's Office and the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team.</p><p>Detectives from the Sheriff's Office and ODET discovered and confiscated evidence suggesting the distribution of methamphetamine from a structure on the property.</p><p>Additionally, detectives recovered four Harley Davidson motorcycles that were reported stolen from locations in Newton County, Harrisonville, Missouri; Springfield, Missouri; and Carroll County, Arkansas.</p><p>The Newton County Sheriff's Office expresses gratitude to the Joplin Police Department, Redings Mill Fire District, Joplin Metro Emergency Transport, and Newton County Ambulance District for their assistance during this operation.</p><p>Committed to combating illegal drug activity in our communities, the Newton County Sheriff's Office encourages anyone with information regarding drug-related or other illegal activities to call 417-451-8333 to report such information.</p>

K Worth of Vehicles Seized in Property Search

Law enforcement officials confiscated two Harley Davidson motorcycles from the location.

On January 9, Taranaki police conducted a search warrant in Fitzroy resulting in the seizure of cash, drugs, and vehicles.

Approximately $5,000 in cash was confiscated along with 100 ounces of cannabis, according to Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Paula Drewery.

Additionally, officers seized three vehicles, which included a Holden Colorado pickup and two Harley Davidson motorcycles.

The total estimated value of the vehicles is close to $90,000.

A 35-year-old individual was arrested at the Fitzroy residence and is scheduled to appear in the New Plymouth District Court on Wednesday.

He faces charges related to the possession of cannabis with intent to supply, as stated by Drewery.

Search for Jacob Ramjewan: Missing Person Alert

The Hamilton Police Service is requesting assistance from the community in finding a missing person, Jacob Ramjewan.

On November 9, 2024, around 8:40 p.m., Jacob Ramjewan departed from his residence located near East 14th Street and Brucedale Avenue East. He has not returned, and police are worried about his safety.

Jacob Ramjewan is described as: 31 years old, 5’8”, 250 lbs, with a dark complexion and short black hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a black dress shirt over a Harley Davidson t-shirt, black jeans, and was barefoot.
