Jack Armstrong’s Cosmic Starship

The bike made its grand entrance at Bartels’ Harley-Davidson dealership in Marina Del Rey, where Lorenzo Lamas dramatically rode it down a red carpet after its dramatic reveal. This extravagant unveiling highlighted its dual personality as a high-performance vehicle and a piece of fine art. In 2012, the Cosmic Starship Harley was sold for $3 million, earning its rank as one of the priciest motorcycles ever.

Beneath its stunning exterior, this vintage Harley is driven by a Revolution V-twin engine with a liquid-cooled capacity of 1130cc, ensuring it performs as impressively as it appears. The Cosmic Starship is a remarkable blend of mechanical skill and artistic vision, highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Harley-Davidson Bucherer Blue Edition

The Harley-Davidson Bucherer Blue Edition is an astonishing creation born from a partnership between Harley-Davidson and the Swiss luxury timepiece maker Bucherer Carl. Unlike any motorcycle produced before, the Bucherer Blue Edition’s handcrafted frame took over 2,500 hours to create, with each component plated in silver prior to its deep blue finish.

One of its notable engineering accomplishments is the transparent engine housing, granting enthusiasts a look into the inner workings of the engine—an exceedingly rare feature. Additionally, a bespoke Carl F. Bucherer watch is seamlessly integrated into the fuel tank, protected underneath an armored glass dome. The luxury continues with over 360 diamonds, gold-plated screws, and exquisite cowhide leather details that create an unequivocal statement of exclusivity and craftsmanship.

This remarkable motorcycle first appeared with a price tag of just shy of $2 million, solidifying its status as one of the most costly Harley-Davidsons ever constructed.

Peter Fonda’s Easy Rider Chopper

Crafted by Cliff Vaughs and Ben Hardy, this custom chopper showcased an elongated front fork, a rigid frame, and an unmistakably bold red, white, and blue paint scheme symbolizing the American dream. The bike featured prominently in the film, with Fonda riding alongside Dennis Hopper’s character on their cross-country journey. Its iconic reputation ensured its place in motorcycle lore, establishing it as a significant cultural landmark.

The original Easy Rider chopper experienced a tumultuous fate, as most bikes used in the film were either stolen or destroyed. Yet, one surviving model restored by Dan Haggerty was auctioned in 2014 for an incredible $1.35 million, highlighting its lasting allure among both motorcycle lovers and film aficionados.

1908 Harley-Davidson Strap Tank

Not all motorcycles garner attention through ostentatious aesthetics or celebrity affiliations. Some derive their value from their rich history, and the 1908 Harley-Davidson Strap Tank exemplifies this. As one of the oldest existing Harley-Davidson models, this motorcycle is a vestige of the company’s formative years, showcasing the adventurous spirit that propelled the brand to international fame.

This specific model was unearthed in 1941 by David Uihlein in a barn near Milwaukee, serving as a time capsule of motorcycling’s past. Uihlein kept the motorcycle in Wisconsin for 66 years, maintaining it as a nearly unblemished reminder of Harley-Davidson’s early days. Its original tank, wheels, engine belt pulley, seat cover, and muffler sleeve render it one of the most genuine examples still in existence.

The 1908 Strap Tank gets its name from the nickel-plated steel straps that secure the fuel and oil tanks. It visually harkens back to an era when motorcycles were essentially motorized bicycles, and engineering innovations were on the cusp of transformation. In January 2023, this pristine specimen of Harley-Davidson’s early artistry fetched a groundbreaking $935,000 at a Mecum Auctions event.

Elvis Presley’s 1976 Harley-Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide

What occurs when the King of Rock and Roll joins forces with the king of the road? You get Elvis Presley’s 1976 Harley-Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide, a motorcycle as legendary as its owner. Acquired in August 1976, this special edition Electra Glide was created as a bicentennial model, celebrating 200 years of American independence with a distinctive blue-and-black color scheme that made it a sought-after collector’s item.

Elvis registered the motorcycle to his Palm Springs residence before transferring it to Graceland. However, it received minimal use and was sold at auction with merely 126 miles on the odometer, showcasing its near-pristine condition. In early 1977—just three months before his death—Elvis sold the motorcycle back to a local dealership, adding an intriguing layer to its history.

After leaving Elvis’ possession, the bike was displayed for decades, at first in a New Jersey hotel and later at the Pioneer Auto Museum in South Dakota, where it remained for over 36 years. In 2019, this remarkable 1976 Harley-Davidson was auctioned for an astonishing $800,000, solidifying its place as one of the priciest Harley-Davidsons ever sold. The sale also included the original title—complete with Elvis’ signature—and keys.

Jay Leno 2001 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide

The motorcycle made an appearance on “The Tonight Show” for 30 consecutive days, during which Jay Leno gathered an impressive lineup of celebrities to sign it. This star-studded list includes Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Samuel L. Jackson, Nicole Kidman, John Travolta, among others. With only 248 miles on the odometer, this Harley remains in near-mint condition, making it a dream for collectors. It was later sold at auction for a staggering $360,200.

Beneath its celebrity signatures and sleek black exterior, the Dyna Super Glide features a powerful 1449cc V-Twin engine combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. The low-profile suspension, extended front fork, and custom low-slung seat with a tapered passenger pillion enhance both its aesthetic and functionality. The user-friendly handlebars and foot controls contribute to a comfortable yet striking design.

Pope Francis’ 2013 Harley-Davidson FXD Dyna Super Glide

The 2013 Harley-Davidson FXD Dyna Super Glide gifted to Pope Francis stands out as anything but ordinary. Presented to the pontiff during Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, this motorcycle represents an unexpected blend of faith, generosity, and skilled craftsmanship.

What elevates this Harley to remarkable status is its unique provenance. Bearing the signature of Pope Francis, written as Francesco on the fuel tank, this motorcycle quickly became a coveted collector’s item. Despite its pristine condition, this motorcycle was not meant for the open road. Instead, it became a symbol of goodwill that embodied its owner’s charitable mission.

In February 2014, this unique Harley was auctioned by Bonhams in Paris, reaching an impressive $327,000. Proceeds from the sale were generously donated to Caritas Roma, a charity dedicated to renovating a soup kitchen and hostel in Rome—aligning perfectly with Pope Francis’ dedication to aiding those in need.

Jerry Lee Lewis’s 1959 Harley-Davidson FLH Duo-Glide

When discussing rock ‘n’ roll legends, few names shine as brightly as Jerry Lee Lewis, and his 1959 Harley-Davidson FLH Duo-Glide is as iconic as the man himself. Known for his electrifying performances and rebellious spirit, Lewis truly embodied the Harley-Davidson ethos.

The 1959 FLH Duo-Glide marked a significant development for Harley-Davidson, being the first model to feature rear hydraulic suspension. This innovation lent the bike its “Duo-Glide” moniker, delivering an unprecedented level of comfort and stability compared to the rigid-frame motorcycles of its time. Powered by the 74 cubic-inch Panhead engine, it offered a combination of power and reliability synonymous with Harley-Davidson’s legacy.

What made this motorcycle noteworthy was not only its technical enhancements but also its personal touches. Jerry Lee Lewis was famous for customizing his possessions, and his Harley-Davidson FLH was no exception. In 2015, this 1959 Harley-Davidson was auctioned at a Mecum event where it achieved an impressive $385,000, marking it as one of the most expensive Harleys ever sold.

Harley-Davidson 8-Valve Racer

The Harley-Davidson 8-Valve Racer is renowned for its speed, power, and innovation, representing a pinnacle of Harley-Davidson’s early racing endeavors. Originally crafted in the 1910s and 1920s for board track racing, this motorcycle was designed for high performance rather than casual riding.

Its standout feature was its revolutionary engine, boasting eight overhead valves for enhanced airflow and combustion efficiency. This advancement allowed the bike to achieve speeds of over 100 mph—a staggering accomplishment for its era. Designed for maximum performance, the racer comprised a lightweight frame, minimal bodywork, and notably lacked brakes, highlighting Harley-Davidson’s singular focus on capability and speed.

Due to its limited production, surviving examples of these bikes are incredibly rare and hold significant value. In 2015, a pristine 1927 FHA 8-Valve Racer sold for $600,000 at auction, underscoring its desirability as a collector’s item. Its extraordinary engineering and historical relevance solidify its status as a treasured gem among collectors.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator 1991 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy

This specific bike was not merely a prop; it was meticulously customized to withstand the demands of Hollywood action sequences. Modified exhaust and valve adjustments allowed it to execute jumps and sharp turns effortlessly. Its low, robust design, wide tires, and solid disc wheels—enhanced by red trim and a shotgun holster—rendered it perfectly suitable for a character as unwavering as the machine he piloted. Today, this motorcycle is revered by both Harley-Davidson enthusiasts and cinema lovers.

Ultimately, the original “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” Fat Boy sold at auction in 2018 for an incredible $480,000.

8 Top Harley-Davidson Softails of All Time

Harley-Davidson stands as one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturers still in operation today. Established in 1903 from a small shed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Harley is known for its staunch traditions and distinctive styles, often stirring debate among enthusiasts. Over the past 120 years, the brand has significantly influenced the perception of motorcycling, producing both remarkable and, admittedly, less-than-stellar motorcycles.

With a legacy nearly as extensive as the automobile industry, Harley-Davidson has had its share of highs and lows. Despite critiques of being stuck in the past, the company has consistently worked to innovate and enhance its engines through the years. Though there have been failures, there have also been remarkable triumphs.

One of these successful narratives began in 1984. Just three years before, Harley-Davidson had been reacquired from American Machine and Foundry (AMF). Faced with reputation issues due to poor quality, the new ownership aimed to reclaim some of Harley’s former glory.

The Harley-Davidson Softail debuted in 1984 as one of the first models featuring the Evolution engine. Drawing inspiration from the home customization trend popularized in the 1970s, the initial Softail combined nostalgic aesthetics with a forward-looking approach. In honor of more than four decades of Harley history, we delve into some of the finest Harley-Davidson Softails ever produced.

What is a Softail?

The trend of motorcycle customization exploded after World War II, hitting its peak during the 1970s and 1980s. Enthusiasts, both amateur and professional, transformed factory bikes into unique rolling art pieces. The term “chopper,” referring to motorcycles with elongated front ends, gained popularity, especially through films like 1969’s Easy Rider.

Choppers typically utilized rigid frames, which were humorously termed “kidney busters” due to their lack of rear suspension. While visually striking, such hardtail motorcycles were not known for comfort.

Fresh from the AMF era and equipped with one of the finest Harley-Davidson engines ever, the Evolution, Harley sought to exploit the hardtail aesthetic and the chopper craze with the introduction of the Softail.

The original Softail, released for the 1984 model year, had a secret advantage: a cantilever rear suspension cleverly hidden beneath the seat. This innovation offered a smoother ride while maintaining the classic hardtail appearance.

The combination of the Softail’s distinctive styling and the dependable Evolution engine made for an instant hit. It seamlessly offered retro charm alongside modern reliability and comfort, serving as a customizable chopper for riders looking to personalize or savor it right off the showroom floor.

Over the past 40 years, Harley has leveraged the Softail design to create some of the most cherished and aesthetically pleasing motorcycles of all time.

Fat Boy

First introduced for the 1990 model year, the Fat Boy is celebrated for its simple yet elegant styling and cruiser-friendly design. Recognized as one of the top Harley-Davidsons in history, the Fat Boy remains in production as of 2024.

Willie G. Davidson, part of the Davidson family, played a crucial role in the AMF buyback process in 1981. With the company on the mend and steadily restoring its reputation, he embarked on a personal project during the late 1980s. Collaborating with designer Louie Netz, Davidson demanded rigorous testing to ensure the Fat Boy met high standards before its public debut, even personally riding it to Daytona in 1988 and 1989.

Alongside its iconic Softail rear end, the Fat Boy was a muscle cruiser powered by an 82 cubic inch (1,337 cc) 45-degree V-twin engine, producing 67 horsepower at 6000 RPM. The following year, the 1991 model gained fame when it appeared in Terminator 2, featured in a scene with Arnold Schwarzenegger. While the real motorcycle likely wouldn’t survive the stunts depicted, it proved to be a durable and popular model.

The Fat Boy evolved over the years. Initially named for its wide frame, the 2024 model has fully embraced its moniker. Featuring a robust 114 cubic inch (1,868 cc) Milwaukee-Eight engine generating approximately 94 horsepower at 4,750 RPM, it preserves the original’s timeless charm while adapting to modern standards.

Heritage Classic

Given the extensive history of Harley-Davidson, heritage plays a significant role in its marketing efforts. The Softail Heritage Classic highlights this legacy, integrating classic motorcycle design elements with modern performance and comfort.

Initially, the original Softail FXST served as a convenient commuter bike, while the Heritage variant was designed as a lightweight bagger. The original model may seem basic by today’s standards, but it has seen numerous enhancements over the years. Like the Fat Boy, the Heritage has maintained ongoing production, including a 2024 version outfitted with the 114 cubic inch Milwaukee Eight engine, representing the pinnacle of Harley’s modern offerings.

Far from being a relic, the Heritage Softail Classic pays tribute to the bikes of yesteryear but features modern amenities in its 2024 model. Unlike its leather-clad predecessors, the Heritage Softail comes equipped with modern essentials such as ABS, a detachable windscreen, LED lights, and a powerful engine delivering 94 horsepower, merging the best of both worlds for today’s riders.

With its classic design and contemporary features, the Heritage Softail Classic remains a favorite among Harley lovers, perfect for weekend adventures or extended journeys. Its lasting appeal and status within the Harley lineup make it one of the finest Softails ever produced.

Crossbones

Harley-Davidsons are synonymous with shiny chrome, but the brand took a different direction in the mid-2000s with the introduction of the Dark Custom line. The Crossbones—unveiled in 2008—showcases this unique design philosophy.

As the flagship of the Dark Custom collection, the Crossbones featured bobber-inspired design elements with dark paint schemes accented by minimal chrome. This model embraced an outlaw aesthetic, boasting a Jolly Roger design on the oil tank alongside a black powder-coated powertrain. With its sprung solo seat and springer front end, it attracted riders craving a distinctive look—whether they were lone stars or everyday commuters. Even years after its production ended, it continues to turn heads.

Powered by a 96B V-twin engine with a displacement of 1,584 cc, the Crossbones produced approximately 94 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 RPM. While horsepower figures are scarce, the bike’s low-end power pays homage to the custom motorcycles that inspired its design.

Unfortunately, the Crossbones did not remain in production for long. Discontinued in 2012 due to changing consumer preferences and declining sales, it nonetheless earns a spot on our list for its gritty rebellion, compelling aesthetics, and raw street presence.

2006 to 2009 Night Train

The Softail Night Train, which debuted in 1998, was an early proponent of the dark aesthetic, powered by the infamous Twin Cam 88 engine. This model featured plastic cam chain tensioners which, in many cases, led to catastrophic engine failures. While some owners experienced minimal issues, those interested in the Night Train should focus on the 2006 to 2009 production years which showcased the enhanced 96 Twin Cam engine.

The Night Train presented an all-black powertrain aimed at showcasing Harley’s custom motorcycling to the European market. More affordable relative to other models, it boasted a custom aesthetic with clean lines, drag bars, and a balance of black powder coating and chrome.

Producing 63 horsepower, it wasn’t the most powerful option, but it excelled in delivering a minimalist experience. Its elongated, low profile caught the eye, even though its weight surpassed 650 pounds. Equipped with a single disc front and rear braking system, the Night Train wasn’t designed for aggressive handling but effortlessly drew attention on city streets with its unique design and deep exhaust note.

Breakout

The Breakout, a quintessential muscle cruiser reflecting Harley’s distinct style, made its debut in 2013. Its Twin Cam 103 cubic inch (1,690 cc) engine paired with a six-speed transmission showcases a unique mix of power and aesthetics. The low profile and extended rake at the front yield a factory-chopper vibe.

The mutual admiration between Harley-Davidson and muscle cars stems from shared qualities: robust, sparse engines, abundant torque, and a stance that conveys predatory readiness. The Breakout exemplifies these traits effectively.

Harley provided a broad spectrum of customization options for the Breakout, producing a vibrant secondhand market filled with unique motorcycles. With a hefty 240 mm rear tire delivering immense torque, the Breakout is an unabashed muscle bike with striking style.

Harley continuously enhanced the Breakout from 2013 until 2020, when it temporarily exited the American market. By that time, the CVO edition boasted a 110 ci Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam engine, generating 122 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 RPM.

The Breakout returned stateside equipped with a new Milwaukee Eight 117 ci engine, marking it as only the third Softail model to feature this powerhouse alongside the Low Rider S and Low Rider ST. The Breakout is available as a 2024 model, making it possible to acquire a brand-new one today.

2018 onward Street Bob

The Street Bob represents a nod to Heritage styling in a minimalist package. Since its introduction in 2006, it has been part of the Dyna family, easily recognizable by its visible rear suspension springs. However, after Harley-Davidson discontinued the Dyna line in 2017, the Street Bob transitioned into the Softail family.

Remaining true to its minimalist roots while incorporating modern comforts, the Street Bob became one of the most celebrated models from the Dyna lineup. When it made its Softail debut in 2018, the bike featured the Milwaukee Eight engine in a 107 cubic-inch format, but Harley has since increased its displacement. As of 2024, the Street Bob has upgraded to a 114 cubic-inch engine.

Weighing only 655 pounds, the Street Bob provides a thrilling ride, delivering 94 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque. While optional ABS can enhance braking safety, it isn’t standard. Riders seeking the ultimate in long-distance comfort might prefer a Heritage model; the Street Bob embodies the essence of a bobber-inspired street bike.

By focusing on eliminating non-essential components, Harley ensures that the Street Bob offers an unadulterated riding experience, fulfilling all the primary functions of a motorcycle without distractions.

Hydra-Glide Revival

For ardent fans of classic Harley designs, the 75th-anniversary Hydra-Glide Revival is a sight to behold. If you’re attracted to Heritage Classics or vintage Springer Softails, the Revival, replete with unique features, is a must-see.

In 2021, Harley-Davidson initiated the Icons line to pay homage to its illustrious history and iconic motorcycles. The Hydra-Glide Revival serves as the newest flagship of this series, capturing the charm of the 1950s-era Hydra-Glides—most notably the 1956 FLH—while integrating advanced modern amenities.

Although it sports a vintage aesthetic with features such as whitewall tires, a raised solo seat, and a classic paint job, the Hydra-Glide Revival is anything but antiquated. The ’50s motor’s 74 cubic-inch displacement has been updated to the contemporary Milwaukee Eight 114 cubic-inch V-twin, and enhancements abound.

Beyond boasting a modern suspension that significantly surpasses the vintage FLH, this edition delivers an impressive 94 hp and 119 lb-ft of torque, ensuring it excels whether cruising city streets or embarking on extended road trips.

Every aspect of the limited-run Hydra-Glide Revival serves as a tribute to the golden age of Harley, encapsulated in a modernized format. It stands as a premium offering for true Harley enthusiasts.

Softail Standard

Harley is not typically associated with affordability, and as motorcycle specs escalate, prices often follow suit. The Softail Standard represents the most economical entry point into the Softail family. With its understated design and classic Softail aesthetics, this model offers just what riders need to enjoy the open road.

Available in limited color choices of Vivid Black or Billiard Gray, the Softail Standard reflects Harley’s ambitions of marrying simplicity with performance. Featuring a Milwaukee-Eight 107 cubic inch engine, mid-mount foot controls, a low seat height, and a manageable weight, the Softail Standard represents a versatile choice for any rider.

Serving as a nod to the original 1984 Softail vision, the Standard embodies a classic rigid frame, an unembellished charm, and iconic Harley styling, making it an attractive option for anyone wishing to join the Harley community. At a price of $14,999, it may not be the most affordable in comparison to sport-cruisers, but it certainly maintains its worth within the Harley hierarchy.

No matter if the Softail Standard speaks to you or if another model captures your heart, rest assured that Harley has been crafting these bikes since 1984, with no indications of stopping in sight.

Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Gifts New Harley Davidson to Member | State News

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — On Sunday morning, a law enforcement motorcycle club delighted one of its members by presenting him with a new Harley Davidson.

The recipient, who also serves as a pastor at a church in Bartlesville, had been without a motorcycle for several years yet always attends all the club’s gatherings.

The club members expressed that the pastor is truly one of a kind.

It was a thrilling moment for Brian Schexnayder when his motorcycle community, the Regulators, surprised him with a 2006 Harley Davidson Law Enforcement Edition bike.

“Every time we went out, Bryan couldn’t join us because his bike was always breaking down. So, as a club, we decided it was time to do something for him since he does so much for us,” commented Herb Cline, Vice President of The Regulators.

Cline noted that Schexnayderhas been a dedicated member for many years, but his motorcycle’s frequent breakdowns left him unable to ride.

“It’s hard to claim to be a motorcycle rider when you don’t have a bike to ride, which makes it a bit odd,” said Schexnayder.

This gesture was heavy with significance.

Approximately a decade ago, Schexnayder stepped into the role of chaplain for various law enforcement teams, becoming a vital part of their support system.

“Whenever an officer goes through a tough situation, he is always available to lend an ear and will check in to see how we’re doing,” said Cline. “I recently had an incident and hadn’t even mentioned it, but he found out and reached out to my officer and asked, ‘are you okay?’ He truly cares.”

Washington County Sheriff Scott Owen remarked that the gift is much more than just a motorcycle.

“This is simply a way to express our gratitude, Brian, and to say ‘thank you for being our rock in times of need, we can’t imagine how we would manage without you,'” Owen stated.

The Regulators successfully raised $6,000 with assistance from the Bartlesville Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Osage County Sheriff’s Office, and Crossroads Baptist Church in Bartlesville, where Schexnayder serves as pastor.

The initial asking price was set at $7,700, but when the seller learned about Schexnayder’s background, he reduced the cost.

Teen Stefanie Damron from New Sweden, Maine, has been missing since September 23 – NBC Boston

A vigil occurred on Saturday for a teenager from northern Maine who has been missing for nearly three months, garnering international media coverage.

Stefanie Damron, 14, from New Sweden, Maine, was reported missing by her family on September 24, one day after the then-13-year-old was last observed leaving her home and heading into the nearby woods on West Road. Authorities have indicated that extensive searches and interviews have not led to her discovery.

“Stefanie’s family is extremely concerned for her welfare, as are we,” stated Maine State Police Major Scott Gosselin during a press conference on December 2. “Currently, there have been no credible leads or sightings of Stefanie.”

Stefanie, who is homeschooled and limits her social media use, stands at 5 feet tall, weighs 130 lbs, has green eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was dressed in blue jeans, a blue long-sleeve shirt, and black Harley Davidson hiking boots.

Family, friends, and community members gathered at the First Baptist Church of New Sweden on Saturday to share her story and observe a moment of silence, as reported by NBC10 Boston affiliate News Center Maine.

Stefanie Damron has been missing for two months after she entered the woods behind her home in New Sweden, Maine.

State police, alongside the FBI, are actively searching for Stefanie across the U.S. and Canada, employing police dogs to cover large areas in Aroostook County where she was last seen. Authorities have conducted numerous interviews and dedicated hundreds of hours to the investigation, but still lack credible information or sightings of Stefanie.

The FBI announced earlier this month that it is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information that leads to Stefanie’s safe return or the arrest and prosecution of those involved in her disappearance. The FBI, in cooperation with the Maine State Police, hopes this reward will encourage individuals with information about the teen’s case to come forward.

“Stefanie’s family is in urgent need of answers regarding her whereabouts,” said Jodi Cohen, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Boston division, during the December 2 press conference. “We are fully committed to aiding our law enforcement partners in utilizing every investigative resource to locate her and bring her back home.”

Maine State Police have mentioned that Stefanie’s behavior is not unusual for her, which is why her family delayed contacting authorities. Typically, she does not remain missing for extended periods, prompting officials to intensify their investigative efforts as time has passed without her return.

As of early December, investigators noted that all possibilities are still being explored, and no definitive leads have directed them towards a specific outcome.

The Maine Department of Health and Human Services has been notified, which is standard protocol when a minor is missing or there could be concerns regarding their home environment, according to police, who did not elaborate on the agency’s role.

New Sweden is a rural community with approximately 575 residents, situated 310 miles north of Portland.

Stefanie’s case has attracted media attention from various regions, including Europe. Authorities have received tips from other states and Canada, which they are currently investigating, although no concrete leads have emerged thus far.

“We are seeking assistance from the public to help keep a lookout for Stefanie and to report any tips or information that could aid our investigation,” stated Gosselin.

“Any piece of information, however small, could be significant,” emphasized Kim Melka, assistant special agent in charge of the FBI’s Boston office, during the FBI’s December 2 press briefing. “We assure you that we are committed to uncovering what happened to Stefanie and reuniting her with her loved ones.”

Anyone with information regarding Stefanie’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Maine State Police at 1-800-924-2261 or 207-532-5400. Tips can also be relayed to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submitted online at tips.fbi.gov.

Not too long ago, referring to any cruiser as a “performance cruiser” would have seemed contradictory. However, the landscape has changed significantly, offering a variety of high-performance choices. In this category, torque has typically taken precedence over horsepower, but it’s refreshing to see that this is no longer the case.

It’s important to emphasize that these bikes come with a hefty price tag. While acquiring a robust cruiser may be possible, it certainly won’t be affordable. If you’re working within a budget, exploring used options might be advantageous. However, for those who are financially unrestrained, considering one of these incredibly fast cruiser motorcycles is a worthy endeavor.

To provide you with the most accurate and current information, this article is informed by diverse manufacturer websites, including Triumph and Harley-Davidson, along with other reliable sources. The motorcycles featured in this article are evaluated based on horsepower.

Equipped with a 117 cubic inch V-twin, the performance remains commendable, yet the riding experience deviates slightly from the more powerful bikes on this list. Thanks to its more comfortable mid-controls, this motorcycle provides a relaxed ride for those lengthy journeys. Presently, it stands as the most powerful air-cooled Harley-Davidson within the cruiser range. For enhanced power, aftermarket options are your best bet.

Although technically categorized as a 2025 model, it has been available for much of the year. The 101 Scout delivers more power than any other motorcycle in the cruiser lineup, and indeed the Scout range. It owes its prowess to its modern liquid-cooled Speedplus V-twin, which is finely tuned to outperform other bikes in the series. This model also boasts sporty adjustable suspension, a quarter fairing, and robust Brembo brakes at the front.

The only downside to the Sportster S is its potential as an even better pure naked bike. The Bronx was tantalizingly close to being realized, though Harley seems to have backed away at the last minute. Ultimately, the Sportster S positions the Sportster legacy for the future, but it might not attract a wide audience. Most cruiser enthusiasts will likely lean towards the equally compelling Nightster range, while those seeking an American-made naked bike may consider Indian’s offerings.

Arch KRGT-1

ARCH KRGT-1
Arch

This motorcycle is an impressive one-off creation. Arch customizes every bike for the individual buyer, encouraging owner involvement in the build process. Naturally, this level of customization comes at a cost, and while the company provides a base price, any modifications or personalization requests will increase that cost. Regardless, the investment pays off once you fire up that 2,032cc V-twin.

Although the KRGT-1 is undeniably a cruiser, understandable reservations about its inclusion may exist. In numerous respects, it bears a striking resemblance to a sport-naked bike, apart from the formidable air-cooled V-twin. Additionally, it’s worth clarifying that torque measurements are provided at the wheel, while power output estimation is at the crank, with the actual wheel horsepower being 94. The figure we mentioned was Arch’s initial estimate intended to ensure a more accurate comparison with other motorcycles on this list.

Technically, last year’s B.O.S.S. is still listed on the website and is certainly still available. We appreciate the blacked-out finish against the blue backdrop and think – at least in terms of style – this model stands out compared to the standard M109R. It reigns as the most powerful Japanese metric cruiser available and is also the most budget-friendly option on this exotic list.

It’s worth noting that, unlike the previously mentioned B.O.S.S., it isn’t found on Ducati’s official website. Nevertheless, it likely still occupies space in various dealership inventories, and with a bit of luck, you might score a solid deal on one. Yet, being a Ducati, perhaps that’s wishful thinking. Speculation exists that the XDiavel may return as a V4 one day, likely in a limited edition, similar to the Nera.

Much like the Arch 1S, the Diavel V4 embraces sportiness within its sports cruiser classification. Fueled by an aggressive V4 engine, it stands out as one of the most extreme high-performance cruisers in this curated list. While it may not claim the highest power, we have reasons to believe it would dominate the others here, including the considerably heavier XDiavel.

Motorcyclist Dies in Three-Vehicle Crash – ORANGE COUNTY TRIBUNE

A MOTORCYCLIST is dead following a three-vehicle collision in Huntington Beach (Shutterstock).

A tragic incident involving two Lexus vehicles and a Harley Davidson motorcycle occurred on Thursday night, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old man from Huntington Beach.

As reported by Jennifer Corey, public affairs manager for the Huntington Beach Police Department, the accident happened on Springdale Street, just south of Warner Avenue.

Police arrived at the scene around 7:24 p.m. and discovered that the Harley Davidson Dyna rider was deceased.
The two drivers, a 62-year-old man in a Lexus GX460 and a 25-year-old woman in a Lexus CT200h, remained at the scene.

Both drivers were unharmed and fully cooperative with the investigation. However, impairment was suspected in the case of the woman, who was taken into custody without incident, according to Corey.

Initial investigations suggest the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Springdale while the Lexus GX460 was heading north and made a left turn into a business complex at the southwest corner of Warner and Springdale.

The Lexus struck the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose control, which then resulted in the Harley Davidson colliding with the eastbound Lexus CT200h, which was exiting a driveway at 17101 Springdale.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it is encouraged to contact HBPD Investigator C. Holston at (714) 536-5670.

Don Dokken Lists His Final Harley Davidson for Sale on eBay

Don Dokken Lists His Final Harley Davidson for Sale on eBayOn December 20th, Don Dokken, the frontman of Dokken, announced the sale of his last Harley Davidson through eBay:

“As some of you may know, I underwent surgery five years ago that led to paralysis in my right arm due to complications. I had hoped to keep one of my Harleys, but after a long period without any improvement, I’ve made the difficult choice to part with my last bike. Unfortunately, I still can’t ride safely because of my weakened arm. It’s a fantastic bike with low mileage, so make sure to take a look.”

Visit the eBay auction for Don’s 1990 Harley-Davidson FXR here.

In 2020, Don shared exclusively with eonmusic that the nerve damage he experienced during spinal surgery in November 2019 has permanently impacted his guitar playing abilities. “It’s over,” he stated to the site. He also discussed Dokken’s new collection, The Lost Songs: 1978 – 1981, collaborating with the Scorpions in 1982, and how Metallica “outperformed us every day” on the 1988 Monsters of Rock tour.

On losing the ability to play guitar:

“I just came from the hospital where I do my therapy, and yes, my right hand; I can’t play guitar anymore, it’s over. My right hand is paralyzed. It’s been seven months since the surgery, and they told me ‘Just be patient. Your hand will recover, you’ll regain your feeling.’ But it’s been seven months, and my hand still doesn’t function. It simply doesn’t work, and that’s how it is. Sometimes unfortunate things occur, you know? I’m not happy about it, but I played guitar for 50 years, so I suppose I had a good run.”

Meet Hollywood’s Nicest Stars: From Tom Hardy Covering an Entire TV Crew’s Wages to Keanu Reeves Gifting Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

While some Hollywood actors might be labeled as unapproachable, not every celebrity fits that mold.

Among the most genuine personalities in the industry is Tom Hardy, who is joined by Keanu Reeves and Hugh Jackman.

Recently, Tom demonstrated his kindness by offering to cover the wages of the entire crew for a new Guy Ritchie series after a construction company faced liquidation.

The Venom actor, 47, was on set filming for Guy Ritchie’s forthcoming TV series, The Associate, in London.

Approximately 50 freelance construction workers found themselves in a distressing situation after Helix 3D, the company hired to create the sets, declared bankruptcy, as reported by The Times.

Tom intervened at this point, offering to pay the workers’ salaries while Paramount worked on resolving the payment issue.

Following Tom’s generous offer, MailOnline explores who else might rank among Hollywood’s kindest individuals…

Ryan Reynolds

Ryan’s Deadpool & Wolverine co-stars have dubbed him the ‘nicest man in Hollywood.’

In anticipation of Deadpool & Wolverine’s release, Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen commented on their experiences working with Ryan and Hugh Jackman during an interview with Comic Book.

Emma remarked: ‘They’re the best people you could ever meet.’

Matthew added: ‘They may very well be the nicest – it’s almost sickening. They’re incredibly kind-hearted, funny, and just lovely.’

Matthew then directly asked Emma: ‘Are they the nicest men in Hollywood?’ To which Emma replied: ‘I truly think so.’

Ryan also shared that he reduced his pay during filming to ensure the screenwriters could be on set.

Ryan explained: ‘I gave up my own salary to ensure the creative team was present on set: They wouldn’t allow my co-writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to be there, so I used my remaining salary to bring them in so we could create an informal writers’ room.’

The Marvel actor said it was worth it, as it supported a struggling creative team that had to work within a limited budget.

He remarked: ‘I believe one of creativity’s biggest foes is an excess of time and money, and our film had neither. It really pushed us to focus on character rather than spectacle, which can be challenging in a superhero movie.’

‘I was thoroughly invested in every detail and realized I wanted to feel that way more often—not just on Deadpool, but across all my work.’

Keanu Reeves

Over the years Keanu Reeves has earned himself the title of Mr Nice Guy in Hollywood following an endless series of selfless gestures

Keanu has earned a reputation as Mr. Nice Guy in Hollywood through countless altruistic acts.

Colleagues and fans alike have expressed admiration for his warm-hearted nature and shared positive stories regarding their interactions with him.

Anecdotes include Reeves, 59, gifting Rolex watches to the John Wick stunt crew and presenting Harley Davidson motorcycles to the stunt performers on The Matrix Reloaded.

He is also known for taking pay cuts from his own salary to enhance the film’s overall quality, accommodating additional prominent actors or boosting the special effects and costume budget.

Keanu’s celebrity status makes him a desirable guest at various social gatherings, including weddings.

In August 2022, he surprised a couple at their wedding in Northamptonshire.

He encountered customer service representative James Roadnight and his wife Nikki, who works with dogs, while staying at the same four-star hotel.

Prior to that, in 2018, Keanu delighted two couples by posing for joyful pictures after their ceremonies.

Hugh Jackman has long had a glowing reputation for being a lovely person, and a whole host of fans have shared their favourite stories about him

Hugh has maintained a stellar reputation for kindness, and many fans have shared their favorite moments with him.

Known for portraying a grumpy and tough superhero Wolverine, Hugh is notably more approachable in reality.

The celebrated 55-year-old actor is praised for his ‘down-to-earth’ attitude and has a reputation for being generous with fans—everyone has good things to say about him.

One fan recounted seeing Hugh at the gym, while another remembered meeting him while he filmed the 2008 film Australia.

‘Just adding my voice to the chorus saying Hugh Jackman is lovely – I met him briefly while he was filming ‘Australia’ in North Queensland, and he couldn’t have been nicer,’ one fan said.

‘He was polite, gracious, funny, down-to-earth, and generous with his time. A top bloke.’

Another noted: ‘Hugh Jackman used to go to my gym while filming Wolverine. He said good morning every time I saw him (at 5:30 am!) and always asked how I was doing.’

A third person shared: ‘My former housemate did some plumbing work for Hugh Jackman and claimed he was the nicest person he’d ever met.’

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson received praised from his costar, Chris Evans, for his incredible generosity toward their crew while filming their new movie Red One

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been commended by his co-star, Chris Evans, for his remarkable generosity to their crew on the set of their film Red One.

Speaking about working with the successful wrestler-turned-actor, 52, Chris, 43, noted that Dwayne excels at uplifting morale on set.

‘On movie sets, at the end of the week, the crew contributes 5 to 10 bucks into a bucket for raffle tickets. It’s called ‘five-dollar Friday,’ he explained to People. ‘Someone’s name is drawn at the end of the day, and they win a couple thousand dollars.’

Chris praised how Dwayne would often increase the pot in ways unmatched by any actor.

He explained that while other actors might contribute to the pot, Dwayne would routinely quadruple the amount.

Chris recounted one instance when the pot reached $5,000, only for Johnson to boost it to $20,000, and then continue to increase the amount further.

‘This is insane. I’m not exaggerating. [Johnson] would ask, ‘Oh, the pot is $5,000? Let’s make it $20,000,’ Evans detailed. ‘After picking a name and seeing someone ecstatic, he’d say, ‘Should we do this again? How about $40,000? … I’m serious — the number just kept rising, and he pulled out five or six names.’

Chris remarked how excited the crew was to work with Dwayne, who reciprocates their hard work with his own.

In response to Chris’ kind words, Dwayne said: ‘Well, I appreciate that. Our crew is the backbone of our business, so it’s important to take care of them.’

Chris had estimated that Dwayne distributed around $100,000 to various crew members in a single day on set.

Tom Hardy, 47, recently filmed scenes for Guy Ritchie’s (left) TV series, The Associate, in London and offered to pay wages when a construction company went into liquidation

Tom stepped in to pay the wages of an entire TV set crew for the new Guy Ritchie series after a construction company went bankrupt.

The Venom star filmed scenes for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming TV show, The Associate, in London.

Unfortunately, around 50 freelance construction workers faced a financial crisis when Helix 3D, the company contracted to construct sets, went out of business, as reported by The Times.

The company had allegedly refused to pay out £250,000 in wages just before Christmas, with CEO Brian Dowling announcing last week that the workers likely wouldn’t see their pay until after the New Year.

It was only after Tom intervened and offered to pay the wages that Paramount stepped in to resolve the situation and begin processing the paychecks.

A source close to Tom told The Times: ‘He offered to help, but Paramount and the production team have handled the payment.’

A representative from Paramount expressed their indignation over the issue and outlined plans to ensure that the workers receive their payments.

In a letter reviewed by the publication, Chris Hudson from the Bectu broadcasting union stated: ‘Our members deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and compensated punctually for their work.’

He added that it is utterly unacceptable for them to face significant financial hardship, especially during the holiday season.

‘During this time of year, our members are understandably distressed, with many fearing they won’t be able to meet essential expenses.’
